Our Sixth Form offers a broad range of learning opportunities that allow individuals to flourish and prepare for the demands of the wider world as global citizens. The College takes pride in guiding and encouraging each pupil to fulfil and surpass his or her goals. This is achieved by offering a broad academic curriculum and providing unsurpassed support.
The A-Level Curriculum
A-levels, considered a ‘gold standard’ qualification, offer focused academic depth globally, accepted by universities and colleges worldwide. They empower students with essential skills and open doors to diverse opportunities. Choosing the right A-levels is crucial, and our team of specialist teachers and guidance counsellors offer expert advice and support tailored to your academic and career goals.
Students will study three Principal Subjects at A-level. These will be supplemented with an option from the Core Curriculum, which provides breadth and develops key skills essential for their future.
Focused Academic Support
Our Sixth Form enjoys a strong community ethos. Once you join the Sixth Form, you are welcomed into a diverse and vibrant community of students, teachers and friends. Every one of our students receives tailored individual attention. Every student has a personal academic tutor who monitors performance, agrees targets and ensures best working practices are being followed: there are frequent one-to-one conversations between student and tutor.
The College has outstanding resources, with a dedicated Sixth Form Centre, superb ICT facilities and a social and educational programme.
Standards are high, with the overwhelming majority of student securing places at their first-choice universities, including some of the highest-ranking universities globally.
The Grayling Centre
At Epsom College in Malaysia, we’ve created a space purely for the Sixth Form, The Grayling Centre.
There are three key sections: the study area, the social area and the tutorial rooms. Here the Sixth Form students can spend time studying, revising, discussing and relaxing in between classes, in an environment that is structured but also respects their growing autonomy. The tutorial rooms in particular have been designed to be much more like the study spaces that are found at universities. The rooms are used by students and staff alike for a variety of purposes, whether to practise public speaking, work on group projects, engage in seminars or have meetings.
Higher Education and Careers
